The Real History Behind Technomagica's World

Thanks for giving my story a try!

This is my first serious attempt at a Litrpg with big charts and many numbers and the pace will be a lot slower than my normal comic-book style writing as the focus here is on exploration of the “afterlife” and progression-style learning about the System itself and what it entails.

The most fun thing about Technomagica is that everything here is woven together from Soviet culture, history, mythology and stories from my childhood. I lived in USSR and experienced the full brunt of the collapse of the Soviet Empire, standing in bread lines in the 90s when the Ruble with pictures of Lenin on it became worthless.

A Russian urbexer really found billions in Soviet rubles buried in a mine shaft by the army as USSR discontinued its rapidly falling currency in the 90s.

Aralsk-7 is real and the Soviets had massive, tank hovercrafts in 1992 called Zubr-class LCAC.

USSR really abandoned 200+ tons of anthrax, virus research materials and other extremely questionable things there in 1992. In our world, nobody destroyed the virology lab and the anthrax burial vats on the site were only decontaminated by a joint effort between USA and Uzbekistan in 2002, so the bio-weapons designed by USSR sat completely unguarded there for ten years.
